  • NaNo panic 2014

    | Random | no comments

In the chaos of everything that’s been happening personal side, I haven’t had time to prepare to for NaNoWriMo this year. This is, of course, a minor gripe in a small sea of unrelated things; I realize I shouldn’t dwell too much on the fact that I won’t be spending an absurd amount of time… read more »

  • What have I been up to and where did the site theme run off to?

    | Random | no comments

This is rather an easy question to answer; I’ve mostly been busy building websites for other people, and so maintaining this one in my free time seemed like, well, work. And so I neglected it, sadly. (Also, tumblr had been eating a lot of my free time, to be honest. Happily, that ship has sailed… read more »

  • WiP site move complete.

    | Random | 2 comments

Finally, I’ve managed to find a host that seems reliable, has friendly customer support, doesn’t crash and burn every two days and has better response time than my old iWeb host. Everything should be pretty well moved by now; if you find any broken links, feel free to report them. Curious about the new host?… read more »

  • WiP major server bust and update

    | Random | 4 comments

Well. Some of you may have noticed some awful downtime recently. Wordinprogress will soon be moving to laughingsquid webhosting in an attempt to stabilize uptime. Expect a few hiccups on the way, but hopefully this will resolve any lag and/or caching issues, and prevent any further server hiccups. I’m not too happy about lugging this… read more »

  • Once again stats are good for a laugh

    | Random | no comments

My stats program gave me these lovely pearls of wisdom this morning; apparently listing the most used keywords on my site yields the following gems of prose: Scrivener VS pyramid head. Assassins poster rape with wallpapers. Assassin hill to silent pyramidhead. It’s even better than the asscreed kink!meme shenanigans.

Wow. To anyone who has visited this site in the past few, hell, probably years, this comes as a major shock. I’ve picked up the Wacom again! Cower in dread, mortals! … Currently trying so hard not to fuck up the colours in photoshop, and failing. So. New illustration to follow soon! I mean, just… read more »

The direct links to the full size, high-resolution .psd files for the two Assassin’s Creed posters are now directly on the AC poster post page. So there. :) You can all stop emailing me.

Just a short blurb to inform you all that, for some reason, the top visited page on this site is my Pyramid Head wallp post. By far. As in, absolutely no contest. I understand that PH is made of bloody awesome, but still. Strange world.

  • NaNoWriMo 09 and various other things

    | Random | no comments

I’m happy to report that I managed to finish NaNo on time; it was my first year actually trying, and I’m pretty pleased with what I accomplished. I’ve left my NaNo story aside for now. It was written pretty quickly, and I think it needs to ripen a bit before I go back to it…. read more »

  • NaNoWriMo ’09

    | Random | no comments

Well, I jumped. I’ve been thinking of trying NaNo for years and years, but have only just gotten enough courage to actually sign up. On Silver Wings has been extremely good practice for me, and although I’ve been busy as hell and updates are getting scarce, I adore it to death; it’s taught me a… read more »

  • Managing your eczema

    | Random | no comments

I’m a graphic designer. Therefore, I’m addicted to coffee and I suffer from mild eczema; I personally think it comes with the job, although they definitely don’t warn you in college. If you’re like me (that is, you live in a country where healthcare is free…), you’ve been to see more dermatologists than you care… read more »
