Well, it’s finally here and I’m happy to report that I for one am enjoying the changes so far. I don’t know how useful some of those features will be for me, but still, it’s a nice update.

Copy and paste is a welcome, if late, addition, and I’m already using it a bit. Still haven’t figured out how to select-to-send multiple photos in the Camera Roll, so I guess I’ll just have to go back to the keynote and watch and nitpick a bit. I’m -really- psyched about tethering, since I’m on Rogers in Canada. It’s installed and working, and I’m going to wait for the end of the month to make sure I haven’t incurred any hidden fees by browsing the few websites and checking email once or twice.

Once I confirm that, hello camping, you’ve just gotten a hell of a lot more productive. Just for the tethering and copy-and-paste, the update is worth it. I don’t know yet if it’s just me (I haven’t seen anyone else complain) but all of my custom ringtones seem to be disabled. Dang. Minus 1 point on that.

Still, can’t be perfect third go, can it?
